Some tasks were cosmetic – replacing carpets and curtains and fitting hatch covers.
We decided to put in a generator during this period as glassing in bearers was better carried out while the boat was unoccupied. Luckily there is a small engine room on Valhalla and we were able to shoehorn a Mastervolt 3.5 Kw generator into it through the cockpit locker.
We added to the locker space in the aft cabin and altered a ledge over the aft double berth. This required the boat spend a couple of weeks in a nearby yard where a company was located who did Hallberg joinery. The result is a cupboard and alterations indistinguishable from the original woodwork.
