Valhalla has four opening ports and we have increased air circulation by fitting six Hella fans, two in the saloon, one in the galley, one in the forepeak and two in the aft cabin. We also carry two multidirectional wind chutes.

We have installed a hot and cold deck shower at the stern as the heads is obviously going to be very humid in the tropics. There is seawater deck spray run from the anchor locker. All hanging lockers and any cupboards with equipment have added ventilation louvers. There are also blowers, one in the engine room and one in the battery charger locker.
