All our additions and alterations have been with a view to comfortable and hopefully tension free sailing for a couple who will be in their sixties when they set off on the big adventure.

Some may say Valhalla is on the small size with the average blue water cruiser these days usually forty to forty five feet. However we feel that her smaller gear is easily operated and serviced and the shorter length makes insurance cheaper with two up.

		Valhalla has her original Brookes and Gatehouse Hornet instrumentation and a Navtex receiver. We fitted two Garmin GPS, Icom SSB, Yeoman plotter, Simrad DSC/VHF, JRC Radar, iridium satellite phone and data kit, a laptop, and handheld GPS and VHF. We carry “C” charts for the world and a Panasonic tuff book with raster charts
